Arrive in sunny Almeria to a retreat centre on the edge of one of Europe’s most remote and beautiful natural parks, the Cabo de Gata, an unspoiled part of Spanish coastline. It’s an amazing landscape of perfect half-moon bays, hidden coves, striking volcanic rock formations, and spectacular flora and fauna – a wonderful wild coastline. The venue is in a peaceful, isolated location, but within walking distance of the lovely, traditional local village of Nijar, which can be seen across the valley at the foot of the spectacular mountain backdrop. Accommodation The main house sits in the semi-desert landscape amid lush gardens, its architecture echoing ancient Mediterranean civilisations. The Cortijo buildings have been converted in the original local style into charming accommodation, located a couple of hundred yards from the main house. There are 2 swimming pools, a fully stocked yoga shala and lots of covered open air spaces to relax and recharge. Food We have two veggie chefs and their meals are based on local fresh produce who can cater for gluten and dairy intolerances, and other allergies. (We have one meal out when the chefs take an evening off). Prices Shared ensuite twin/double £1050pp (Single Occupancy £250 supplement) Prices include morning and afternoon yoga classes (up to 13 classes depending on whether you do any excursions), 3 meals a day, and accommodation. Please organise your own flights and we will help with connections and recommendations. It is essential that you have travel insurance. It is only half an hour from Almeria airport, 2.5 hrs from Malaga airport. *If flying to Malaga a food stop will be arranged to break up the trip with costs shared among the group for transfers.
